A Piece of History on Your BlackBerry

BlackBerry CaseHere’s something unique that you don’t see everyday. If you fancy something unique, authentic and historical, how about carrying a piece of Soyuz space parachute with you and showing off to your friends? No, not the entire parachute, silly. You can now carry your Blackberry in a unique case with a piece of adventure — a Black Cordura nylon case where the front flap features a piece of ISS Soyuz TMA-3 landing parachute.

The material used is certified by Alexander Y. Kaleri, Commander of the Soyuz TMA-3 space vehicle and Pilot Cosmonaut of the Russian Federation. Here is an excerpt from the certificate:

This piece of material is part of the original main landing parachute used on April 29th 2004 by the descent module of the Soyuz TMA-3 space vehicle. This parachute is a flown item that was onboard Soyuz TMA-3 and at the International Space Station (Expedition8) from October 18th 2003 to April 29th 2004 (194 days in space).

The inside of the case is lined with soft black cotton to protect from scratching your BlackBerry and the case attaches to any shoulder strap or belt. The side panels are elastic to encourage a snug fit for your BlackBerry and the flap is secured using velcro.

You can purchase the BlackBerry case from EverQuest Design for $25.00.  Bring home a piece of historic adventure today.
